So maybe I'm a few days late on posting this, but that's okay.
Sometimes we all need a little bit of a break... and sometimes life happens, and we just have to slow down for a little bit.
Over the long weekend, we made two trips to the pumpkin patch. In 90* heat. Call me crazy, but I can't help myself!
The boys weren't such huge fans of the hayride this year, probably because they were in shorts... Monster kept complaining that it was too poky to sit down. I hear ya, kid. Monkey also had a meltdown because another kid had a drink and he didn't. Joys.
We did take the required turkey picture (thank goodness for my husband - I wasn't tall enough to stick the boys up there!).
We ended up taking home five pumpkins, a large gourd, and some delicious pumpkin roll. So, so good.
Saturday night we had youth game night, and this happened:
Sunday morning in Sunday School, we were discussing fellowship, and we went over this verse. There are so many special people that I have been able to build relationships with because of our roles as youth directors at the church, and because of my job as a teacher... this is 100% how I feel. Relationships are about sharing your life, not just trying to teach to others. This verse also holds a special place in my heart because of the online bible study I've been doing with the BKK girls. <3
And Sunday night I stayed with the boys during church... they love to cuddle.
This week we don't have a ton of plans, but man- it's supposed to be in the 70's here (and the low 70s at that!), so we are pretty darn pumped!
