Since everyone else is, and since I'm newish... here's what my 2015 looked like! :) [AKA the post with waaaaaaaaaay too many pictures!]
January
Lots of January was spent traveling to the hospital in a bigger city- both of my grandfathers were in for pneumonia. Not my most favorite thing ever, but I will always be thankful for all of the extra family time that we spent together. Plus, I got a lot of time with my sister.
We did make some time to celebrate Tim's birthday though! :)
February
In February I turned 26 on the 12th.
We lost Grandpa on the 18th.
We had snow, snow days, costumes, and built snowmen.
Monkey learned to walk!
Monkey turned 1 on the 26th.
March
More snow days, so lots of snuggles and home time!
I also got to go to the NSTA Conference in Chicago with some coworkers. Loooove when I get opportunities to do awesome stuff like this!
We also went and watched the high school's Seussical Musical.
April
I got to celebrate my best friend since high school and the fact that she was having a baby!
We started enjoying the nice weather & Timothy was reppin' the track team since he got a coaching job! #myhusbandisawesome
Every year, our youth group is in charge of stuffing Easter eggs for the church hunt. This year, I called it quits at 1,000 eggs. We took the kids to dinner afterward to celebrate... and ward off sugar belly! ;)
In April, we celebrated the fact that Jesus is awesome since He was willing to die for us and our screwups. [This quote from camp I love so much: "Someone is going to pay for your sins. Will it be you or Jesus?" #truth]
May
In May, we took two trips to two zoos. When we were dating, it was almost a monthly thing for us to go to the zoo, because I'm really a kid. And so's Timmy. And our kids love animals. Totally a win!
We started getting outside more, especially since school was almost out!
June
In June, Monster turned three a week before we celebrated 4 years of marriage while in New York serving on a missions trip with our youth group!
We also took a trip to the movies once we returned home. ;)
The boys also began to learn the art of puddle jumping, along with lots more outside time!
July
In July, we were in charge of VBS.
We celebrated July 4th.
I was in charge of my sister's wedding shower.
We spent two solid weeks at church camp. So rewarding. So exhausting.
August
In August, I started my 5th year of teaching! These girls came down to help me out :)
We went to Holiday World with our youth kiddos.
September
We took the boys to check out some (no so) real dinosaurs!
We also had a surprise bachelorette party for my sister!
October
In October, we were super! ;)
And my baby sister got married!
November
We celebrated all things turkey... including my sister and brother-in-law since it was their birthday!
December
December was Christmas joy all around! We have had a great month!
If you were following along, here's the recap of #17daysoffestive. I loved every moment! ;)
